Alden High School’s Fall Play

Alden High Schools Fall Play

Carl Aldinger, News Anchor

Last year, the High School put on one of its most successful Fall Plays to date: Spook House.  To continue with the comedic streak, the Fall Play was chosen to be How the West was Dun.  The show is a spoof of classic American western films from the golden age of Hollywood.  It features a crazy band of villains, a heroic sheriff and his kind but dull deputy, and many more characters that all come together in this knee-slapping production.

The show will be presented on November 17 through 19 at 7:00pm, with a 2:00pm matinee on Saturday.

A new feature of both the play and musical this year will be online ticket sales.  Both the High School Theater Club and Middle School Drama Department will use this system for all  future shows.  The High School Box Office is located in the lobby of the High School, and will be set up for the show in November.  Pre-sale tickets for the play went on sale on Monday, October 3.  Visit aldenschools.org/boxoffice to pre-order tickets now.
