Spring sports started off with a BANG as the Varsity Baseball team won their first game Wednesday, April 12th against JFK. This past weekend the team won against Maryvale, who was projected to be the leagues champions. The baseball team also won their game Monday, April 24th against East Aurora. Tom Bednarski pitched a two hitter with eight strikes out on Friday, the 28th, against Starpiont. The teams record so far for the season is 7-2.

The Varsity Softball team also started their season well winning their first game Monday, April 2nd, against Tonawanda and continued that winning strike until their loss against Depew, Monday, April 17th. The softball team also won against East aurora, Monday , April 24th, 24-0. The softball team played on Friday, the 28th, home against Starpoint and defeated them 7-4.  The teams record is 5-1.

Boys Varsity Tennis is undefeated! The team has won against Springville, Akron, Lake Shore, and on this past Monday, April 24th they won against Lackawanna. They have also defeated Clarence, Tonawanda, and on Wednesday, April 26th won against Eden.  The team is looking forward to continue their winning strike, and also send many players to participate in sectionals this year.

The Co-Ed Varsity Track team started their season Saturday, April 22nd at the Niagara Falls Invitational meet. Many athletes did well and continued to beat their original PRs. On Tuesday April 25th, the track team hosted a dual meet against Spring-ville. Both boys and girls team defeated them by a landslide. On Saturday, April 29th, the team traveled to West Seneca to participate in the West Seneca Invitational. The boys teamed placed 2nd and the girls team placed 4th. This Friday, May 5th, the track team will be in Pembroke. Good luck to all athletes attending.
