With 2020 being a year full of uncertainty, one thing remains. Honoring our heroes on Veterans Day. Due to COVID, we said goodbye to our usual Veterans Day assembly, and hello to our Veterans Day Parade. Students were encouraged to get outside at some point during block three to clap, cheer, and wave to our Veterans as they drove by and received their lawn signs provided to them by AHS. Students were able to appreciate and honor the Veterans while standing 6-feet apart with masks on. Veterans Day 2020 was a great day for all, and it’s most definitely a day to remember.
