Miranda Daucher was inducted into the Alden High School Athletic Wall of Fame on Sept. 16, 2022.

Miranda Daucher was a three-sport athlete while also doing student congress, being on the prom committee as a junior, and refereeing recreation basketball. She threw for track all four years and she held our school discus record of 133 feet, 9 inches. She was awarded New York State small school champion, and got second amongst all private, large, and small school entrants.

Miranda also played four years of basketball and often lead her team scoring, rebounding, and blocks. By the end of her basketball career, she was seventh all time on the girls scoring list. She won tournament MVP at many events during her basketball career.

She was also a successful volleyball player throughout her high school sporting career. She was on varsity as a sophomore and earned first and second team all-division all three years.

Miranda wasn’t only an athlete. She has also inspired young girls to accomplish great things in their life by pursuing what they love.
