Halloween is just around the corner, and Alden High School’s own Jess Okoniewski has been spreading the Halloween spirit with her latest “In the Halls” video. Armed with candy and spooky questions, Jess roamed the halls to see just how ready students and staff are for the season of scares.
In classic Halloween fashion, Jess kicked things off by asking students how long they’d last in a horror movie. Responses ranged from Rory’s confident “45 minutes” to others predicting a quick exit. As Jess humorously put it, “I don’t have faith in myself either!”
From favorite candies to classic Halloween characters, no topic was off-limits. Rachael shared her love for full-size peanut butter cups, while others rattled off spooky favorites like Jack Skellington, Sally, and Oogie Boogie—earning well-deserved treats. Of course, Jess’ interviews wouldn’t be complete without a few memorable moments, including a surprise hug from Adam who declared Wendy “my queen.”
With laughter, candy, and plenty of Halloween spirit, Jess’s video is a reminder of what makes Alden so special—students and staff coming together for fun Halloween traditions!
