On January 25th, Mrs. MC’s and Mrs. Kornacki’s Sophomore Honors Seminar class held a Columbian Exchange Buffet and Coffee House. Students researched a food item in the library during their English Honors portion of the class. They then presented their research and brought in their food item to share with the class. After the buffet, students debated the significance of the Columbian Exchange in the history of the world. The students realized that, without the Columbian Exchange, none of these foods would be present in America today.
