Bethany Dudley, Sports reporter

On January 21st the girls varsity bowling team competed at the 1st Annual Lockport Winter Classic tournament. This is the first year the tournament has ever been held. The tournament consisted of 7 other teams and 5 bowlers with 1 alternate from each team. The alternate would sub in for the player with the lowest score so every player got a chance to play. They bowled 3 games in the morning then it was lunch time. Bowlers that made it in the top 4 would bowl 3 more games in the second half. Awards were given for the top 4 teams, top 10 high games and the top 10 high sets. Alden did not make it in the top 4 but they had a fun time.
