To start off the holiday season the Primary School hosted their annual Merry Moose Shop.The Merry Moose Shop was on December 5th and 6th at the Primary School. It was held in room 109 and each class got a chance to go down and buy gifts for their family and friends. Some of the students even bought things for themselves if they had extra money.

The volunteers gave each of the students a candy cane even if they weren’t buying anything. The kids sat in chairs outside the room and waited to be called to get a volunteer assigned to them to help them pick out gifts and make sure they were going to have enough money to buy everything they wanted to get. Earlier that week the students got on envelope sent home with them for their parents to fill out who they needed to buy gifts for and put money in them for the kids. While the students were waiting for a volunteer to get assigned to them I got to ask them if they were on the Nice list. Not a surprise to me they all said they were on Santa’s Nice list. I also asked the volunteers why they volunteered. Both of the volunteers said they liked spending time with the kids and seeing how much they really enjoy it. I also asked them if they thought the first day was very successful and they couldn’t wait until day two.
