A few months ago WACS covered a story on Vision 20/20 this week several district members sat down at meetings about the projects they will be starting soon.

I talked to Superintendent Stoltman and some others attending the meetings about what will be happen in the next few months. He stated that many projects will be happening in the next few months. On Thursday of last week he went to several meeting regarding the new renovations.

In these meeting they discussed what would be happening to the track and football field and what would be happening to the aquatic center at Alden High School. For the football field there will be lines for lacrosse, field hockey, soccer and football. The track coaches including Mr. Carll Mr. Partell and Mrs Bennett attended the meetings as well. Mrs. Bennett also stayed for the aquatic center meeting with many other swim coaches. They discussed how the pool area will be fully renovated same with the locker room showers. They will be adding many thing including new sound system, more deck space and more. Including this on all the new additions that they’re adding to the pool they’re also trying to make it bigger so we can host bigger events like ECIC championships and sectionals here at Alden high school.

Most of the work will be done sometime later this year including new lighting, H-Vat, and new plumbing heating. In the few next coming years all of it should be finished by summer of 2020.
