Tyler Lucas, a 16-year-old junior at Alden High School, is known for his athletic skills and dedication to sports. Whether it’s football, basketball, or baseball, he brings his all to every game. When he’s not busy playing, he’s often found hanging out with friends, diving into video games, or—no surprise—talking about football.
Outside of school, Tyler enjoys keeping things simple. For him, the best part about sports isn’t just the thrill of the game—it’s the camaraderie that comes with it. “My favorite part is just, I get to hang out with my friends, have a good time,” he shares, showing that sports are as much about bonding as they are about competition.
Tyler’s passion for football runs deep. His most cherished memory came last year when he was pulled up to join the varsity team for a playoff game against Maryvale. “Scoring a touchdown, catching a couple passes—it was extremely fun,” he recalls. The experience wasn’t just exciting; it solidified his love for the sport even more. “Football has influenced my life a lot. It’s basically my life. All I do is play football, sleep, think about football, that’s about it,” he admits.
Looking ahead, Tyler’s goals are simple yet ambitious. In ten years, he hopes to be working, making a living, and still finding time for his friends. If the opportunity arises, he wouldn’t mind playing football for a few more years. “Oh yeah, I’d love it if I could play football at the next level. An extra four years would make it amazing,” he says.
Tyler Lucas’s story isn’t just about touchdowns and game highlights; it’s about finding purpose in passion and joy in the journey. Whether on the field or off, he’s committed to giving his best and enjoying every moment along the way.
