With the semester ending, Mrs. Cometto’s drawing and painting class made one last drawing and painting. Students were able to freely create in any medium as long as it met the size requirements. WACS got an inside view of the artistic process and a final look at some students’ projects.

“The hardest part was letting my mind go ’cause I’m a super-perfectionist and I like everything to be perfect,” said Rachel Nieman on her final drawing.

“I chose this picture because I took this picture of a clock in East Aurora next to Vidler’s and I thought it was really cool,” said sophomore Cole Ertel of his inspiration for the piece. “I  liked all the different colors.”

Make sure to check out all of the art class’ final projects hanging throughout the art wing. We’re so proud of how far our art students have come this semester and can’t wait to see what they continue to create!
