Get ready for an exciting high school bowling season! The Alden Bowling Team is gearing up to showcase their skills, and with both new and returning talent on the roster, it’s shaping up to be a great season. Players are determined to improve on last year’s performances, and fans can expect intense matches filled with unforgettable moments.
Let’s meet some of the team members and hear about their goals for the season. First up, we have Aurora Tryka, a member of the Alden Girls Varsity Bowling Team, who’s ready to elevate her game this year. “My goals are just to improve my average and try to get that up from last year,” Aurora says. “And just have fun with the team, because it’s a really fun sport. It’s a team sport, so we always have fun.”
Next, we hear from Noah Leonard, a varsity bowler who’s most looking forward to spending time with his teammates. “I’d say just being with the people and having fun,” Noah shares.
We also spoke with Mr. Casillo, the varsity bowling coach, who finds great satisfaction in watching his athletes grow. “The most rewarding part for me as a coach is just seeing the success of the athletes,” he says. “Seeing them throughout the year get better and better and succeed just makes me very happy.”
Mark your calendars for December 9th and come out to support the Alden Bowling Team at their first home match as they compete for victory! Let’s make it a season to remember.
