Carnation Sale at Alden High School

Brittany Jordon, Reporter

Alden High School’s National Honor Society runs a Carnation Sale every year. They have been doing this for a handful of years. Miss Ziegler took over National Honor Society three years ago when she began teaching at the school. The carnations cost a dollar each. Multiple people participate in this sale each year. National Honor Society looks forward to this fundraiser because the money they get out of it helps to fund various activities. Miss Ziegler stated, “The money helps us fund things like our induction ceremony and we buy supplies for that, and it also helps us do things around the community.” This fundraiser helps the National Honor Society and the people and community around us. The sale wasn’t as good as years passed but it was okay. Thank you to students and teachers who helped National Honor Society in their fundraiser this year, and every other year.
